Shop and Sell for a Good Cause!

"LE TRESOR" is an initiative that aims to support the global mobilization for the protection of the planet and the awareness of all towards people in need.

In a store, easily accessible, in the center of Athens, we have gathered:

- Unique clothes and accessories, given to us by Greek Designers, with the purpose of the proceeds being donated to the Organizations we support

- Items from individuals, in excellent condition, the proceeds of which (or part of them), we donate on their behalf, to the same  Organizations.

This way, we create a strong motivation for everyone, since by buying or selling, their money will be given for something important, while at the same time they support circular fashion and the protection of the planet.

Hidden treasures and circular economy

The production of clothes in the last 15 years has been doubled, while their use has been decreased by 40%. More and more retail brands are turning towards second-hand sales, seeing this as a very important way to reduce the industry's burden on the environment.

For example, H&M has already started selling second-hand clothes, even from other brands, on its Swedish online store. Well-known fashion brands such as Hugo Boss, as well as retail giants like ZARA and Marks & Spencer, follow the same path. Seeing the market change, big brands like the above, have already launched, prepared or expanded their businesses in terms of second-hand clothing.

According to a research by Global Data, the global second-hand clothing market will have grown by 127% by 2026, i.e. 3 times faster than the retail clothing sector, while in the US, this increase will reach $82 billion by 2026, corresponding to 16 times faster growth compared to the growth of the entire fashion market.

A large part of the consumer public shows, that it is gradually turning to more sustainable options, and especially younger people, who are looking for "pre-loved" treasures, with a desire not only to save money, but also to strengthen the principles of the circular economy.

Some of the biggest fashion brands of the world turn to sustainable fashion and charity activity

During the past years, leading fashion brands have moved in the direction of creating a culture of social awareness. Luxury brands, in the form of charitable donations or sustainable products, create partnerships with non-profit and charitable organizations and remain true to their purpose, proving that it is not just a marketing move.
